You will design, build, and operate AI applications ranging from LLM-powered workflows (e.g., intelligent document processing, RAG systems) to agentic AI systems that are actively used in customer environments.\n\nGerman language skills at C1 level and above are mandatory for this role.\n\nYou’ll work closely with customers and internal engineers to translate ambiguous requirements into reliable, scalable systems and guide AI-driven product development within customer projects. This role is hybrid, with predominantly remote work and occasional on-site presence at customer locations across Germany and our office in Würzburg, Bavaria.\n\nYour profile\n\nSeveral years (3–6) of hands-on experience building and operating AI/ML systems in real-world projects.\n\nSolid experience implementing agents on the LangChain stack (LangGraph, DeepAgents, LangFuse) in Python, including FastAPI interfaces/integrations (minimum of 3 agents per project)\n\nBasic knowledge of AWS (e.g. ECS, CDK, …)\n\n**Strong Python expertise (**app. 5 years) and experience with modern AI/LLM tooling; framework-agnostic mindset.\n\nProven experience with LLM-based systems (e.g., RAG, embeddings, tool usage) and an understanding of trade-offs between quality, cost, latency, and complexity.\n\nAbility to work independently in customer-facing environments, taking ownership of technical decisions under uncertainty.\n\nProfessional communication skills in customer contexts.\n\nResidence in Germany.\n\nBonus points to score\n\nDeeper experience with agentic architectures (planning, memory, multi-agent coordination).\n\nExperience deploying and operating AI services in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).\n\nContributions to open-source projects, technical writing, or applied research.\n\nYour daily business\n\nDesign and ship end-to-end AI systems, from prototype to production.\n\nBuild LLM-powered applications (incl.
