You will conduct setup and operation of CNC equipment (Metal and Plastic) This will include inspecting machined features to maintain quality and making adjustments to the tooling. (CNC Lathe and Vertical Milling)\nYou will:\nOperate CNC lathes with live tooling and manual equipment to insure timely flow of parts through the machine shop.\nCad/Cam lathe programming, Gibbs Cam preferred\nMake adjustments on machine and tooling to maintain product quality. \nPerforms routine operator maintenance that includes: tool sharpening, machine oiling, fluid level/air pressure checks, safety switch functioning etc. \nRead and interpret machine shop blueprints. \nUse measurement tools such as micrometers, verniers, height gage, bore gage, and attribute style gages.\nWork in a team based lean manufacturing environment where safety is our number one priority. \nKey Qualifications:\nBe able to set up and operate basic, manual metal fabrication machines.\nBe able to utilize calibrated precision measuring instruments. \nBe able to read and interpret blueprints.\nHigh school diploma/GED required. Prefer Associate or Technical Degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience\n Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and work 10 hours a day and be able to lift up to (50 lbs.) \nPosition Hours/Shift:\n1st shift: 5:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Thursday\nMust be open to working overtime if needed on Friday.\nEnvironment:\nClimate controlled manufacturing facility.\nCompensation:\nThe hourly pay for this role is: $33.00/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
