You will be under the direction of the Production Supervisor where you will move material with a forklift to meet production schedules per company safety requirements while also meeting customer quality expectations.\nYou will:\nOperate a forklift per defined procedures and safety practices\nIdentify and move raw materials and finished product.\nInspect forklift and perform preventative maintenance as required.\nUse hand tools.\nLift and move tools, parts and material.\nOperate computer to perform daily job functions.\nAccurately locate materials and complete inventory transactions into Oracle\nRecharge forklift batteries and/or change propane tanks.\nPass a written test on safe forklift operations and demonstrate the ability to safely operate a forklift.\nFollow and comply with all safety rules and practices.\nComplete all necessary paperwork.\n\nKey Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nAbility to lift and move parts/material\nManufacturing environment; must wear Safety Shoes and Glasses.\nPowered Industrial Truck Safety Certification, internally administered is required\nAbility to understand inventory processes.\nAbility to perform basic math.\nAbility to safely use tools and pallet trucks.\nPass a written test on safe overhead crane operation and demonstrate the ability to safely operate an overhead crane.\nMust be knowledgeable and familiar with applicable ISO and quality system requirements and policies.\nPosition Shift/Hours:\n3rd shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am Monday - Friday\nMust be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed\nCompensation:\nStarting hourly pay for this role is: $24.12/hr. + $1.00 shift premium while working on 3rd shift. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
