You will use your knowledge, skills, and effort to safely install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will perform intermediate-level maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspection, and preventive maintenance activities across production equipment and facility systems. This role is the first step in the Professional Maintenance career path and the third step in the overall maintenance development progression. You will work with minimal supervision on assigned repairs and begin developing the skills needed to mentor Maintenance Technicians.\nYou will:\nConduct routine inspections of buildings, production equipment, and facility systems to identify and address maintenance needs. \nPerform intermediate-level repairs on electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and related systems. Intermediate carpentry experience may be considered in place of hydraulic or pneumatic experience. \nComplete preventive maintenance activities with minimal coaching or supervision to help prevent breakdowns and maintain reliable equipment performance. \nSupport CNC machines, injection molding machines, custom pump test stands, electrical test stands, and other production equipment. \nRespond promptly to maintenance requests, equipment breakdowns, and emergencies. \nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts usage. \nCollaborate with maintenance team members, production personnel, engineering, and third-party contractors to resolve equipment and facility issues. \nFollow all safety regulations, electrical safety requirements, and company policies. \nMaintain tools and equipment in safe, organized, and serviceable condition. \nAssist with equipment setup, relocation, dismantling, and special projects. \nBegin learning and applying effective mentoring practices for Maintenance Technicians I and II. \nPerform other duties as required. This description covers the most significant responsibilities but does not exclude occasional assignments not listed. \nKey Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent experience and 3+ years of experience.\nRelevant maintenance experience demonstrating the ability to perform intermediate-level repairs with minimal supervision or coaching. \nWorking knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems and foundational knowledge of 120-volt and 480-volt systems (480v is a plus). \nArc-flash training and the ability to follow applicable electrical safety practices. \nWorking knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and mechanical systems. \nAbility to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical schematics, and technical blueprints. \nExperience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and injection molding equipment is preferred. \nExperience servicing electrical quality-testing equipment used in production and assembly operations. \nFoundational understanding of Autonomous Maintenance principles. \nFoundational knowledge of HVAC or carpentry. \nBasic welding ability. \nFoundational PLC troubleshooting skills. \nFoundational computer skills, including the ability to enter and maintain maintenance records. \nAbility to use hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and other maintenance-related equipment safely. \nAbility to communicate effectively in English and work overtime as needed to support maintenance operations. \nFoundational = basic\nShift/Hours:\n1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment: \nWork is performed in a plant facility with exposure to heat, dust, mid-level noise, fumes, and odors. The position requires continuous standing and walking for extended periods. Candidates must be able to handle the physical demands of the job, which include pulling, pushing, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Team assistance will be provided for heavier loads. Additional physical requirements may include ladder climbing, sitting, bending, reaching, and working in confined spaces.\nCompensation:\nThe anticipated hourly pay range for this role is: $34.00 - $37.00/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.\n**Hiring Bonus**\n$1000 Hiring Bonus- The hiring bonus is payable at $500 after 90 days and $500 after 6 months of employment.
