You will help achieve and maintain materials team goals, including safety observations, reduction of quality errors with audits and implementing resolutions, parts picking for sales order, material market set up, and identifying process improvements to meet productivity goals.\nYou will:\nUpdate and track materials and value stream MDI metrics daily in regards to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Cash and Culture. \nCoach team members on standard work, MDI Metrics and overall material workflow. \nBecome proficient in all SAP functions required of the materials lead position. \nSupport production and material flow to ensure processes run smoothly and uninterrupted. \nFoster a continuous improvement culture within their team. \nPerform audits on material flow processes, supermarket accuracy, and pick accuracy. \nPerform training for employees on mobile equipment. \nSet daily work schedules to ensure that all production needs are met \nKey Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required \nAssociates degree or coursework towards Bachelor’s Degree is preferred \n5+ Years’ experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. \nERP System (SAP, MFG, PRO, M2K) experience. \nPrior leadership and training experience desired. \nDemonstrated problem solving and use of initiative to meet a defined target or project goal. \nExperience of Lean manufacturing methodologies and/or continuous improvement. \nCertified to operate and train on mobile equipment such as Sit Down Forklift, Standup Reach Truck, and Tugger. \nExperience creating and utilizing basic spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel. \nShift/Hours:\n2nd shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday \nOccasional mandatory overtime required \nCompensation:\nThe hourly pay for this role is: $23.00- $26.00. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
