You will maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution of materials and equipment while maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse and ensuring it is properly secured.\nYou will:\nEnsure that the employees are trained and perform all tasks in a safe and productive manner.\nEnsure that the department is set up correctly before the start of the shift and before every break. Monitor for proper start-up.\nProvide training, classes, tools and skills for team members to be able to do their jobs more efficiently and effectively.\nEnsure 100% completion of assignments.\nIdentify root cause and implement corrective actions for identified problems.\nMonitor quality of orders to ensure compliance with established standards and product performance levels.\nResponsible to implement Lean principles.\nFill in when team members must leave the line.\nTrack production by filling out the hour-by-hour chart.\nHelp support good housekeeping.\nAssign work when the line is down for extended period of time.\nMeasure, Monitor and Sustain Quality/Delivery/cost Metrics and 5-S.\nConduct ergonomic exercises at the start of shift. Watch for and identify safety and ergonomic issues; get them fixed quickly.\nRecognize exemplary performance and address poor performance issues.\nOther duties as assigned\nKey Qualifications:\nAbility to create a highly effective team environment.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a strong sense of business ethics.\nSAP experience or similar ERP experience.\nPC literacy: Windows, Word, Excel, etc.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.\nAble to lead team problem-solving efforts.\nMust be able to interact and communicate effectively both orally and in writing with all levels of the organization.\nMust be able to perform all the operations in Takt time.\nPhysical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting and lowering weights up to 50 pounds.\nSteel-toed footwear is required.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1-2 years' experience\nShift:\n2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday\nNeed to be able to work on Saturdays and Sundays as needed.\nCompensation:\nThe hourly pay for this role is $24.00/hour, plus $0.75/hour shift differential while working on 2nd shift. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
