You will support team members on the line. Ensure that the line is running at constant pace. Responsible for improving the process through the implementation of the lean principles. Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost control.\nYou will:\nEnsure proper cell setup before shift and breaks; monitor line start-up. \nVerify adherence to standard work and provide training, tools, and support for team efficiency. \nEnsure full schedule completion and address issues with root cause analysis and corrective actions. \nMonitor product quality to meet standards and performance levels. \nApply Lean principles and maintain ability to perform all departmental operations within Takt time. \nFill in for absent team members and perform in-line and offline repairs. \nTrack production using hour-by-hour charts and maintain Kaizen stations. \nIdentify and resolve safety and ergonomic issues; lead ergonomic exercises at shift start. \nTrain new team members and assign tasks during extended downtime. \nMeasure, monitor, and sustain metrics for Quality, Delivery, Cost, and 5S. \nMaintain Kanban quantities and manage performance recognition and correction. \nServe as Kronos backup for time and attendance; report production and scrap to Shift Leader. \nMaintain first-level Lean data. \nKey Qualifications:\n2 years’ experience in production/manufacturing leadership \nBilingual (English/ Spanish) required \nAbility to create a highly effective team environment; lead team problem-solving efforts \nStrong communication skills, both verbal and written \nStrong interpersonal skills, professionalism; strong sense of business ethics \nExperience running team meetings \nPC literacy: Windows, Word, Lotus Notes, etc. \nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles \nAbility to train other individuals \nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day \nAbility to stand 8 to 12 hours a day \nSteel-toed footwear is required. \nPosition hours/shifts:\n 3rd shift: 10pm - 6:40am (one weekend day required) \nOT required as needed \nCompensation:\nThe hourly pay for this role is $26.00 - $27.00/hour, DOE, plus 8% shift premium while working 3rd shift. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training.
