You will provide day-to-day leadership for the Quality Department and provide quality excellence throughout the site’s operations. This role is responsible for supervising Quality Technicians, supporting the Quality Management System, leading problem-solving activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance. The Quality Supervisor works closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production teams to ensure compliance with quality standards, resolve quality issues, and promote a culture of accountability, proactive problem solving, and continuous improvement.\nYou will:\nSupervise, coach, and develop a team of Quality Technicians.\nFoster a positive, accountable culture focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.\nDevelop, coordinate, and maintain training programs for quality personnel and production employees.\nSupport employee development through coaching and skills development plans.\nRepresent Quality in Managing Daily Improvement (MDI) meetings and other operational reviews.\nSupport compliance with ISO requirements and site quality management system standards.\nEnsure effective control and maintenance of documented information, procedures, work instructions, and quality records.\nConduct and participate in internal quality audits and support external audits as required.\nAssist in the implementation and maintenance of quality policies, procedures, and best practices.\nMonitor adherence to customer specifications and internal quality standards.\nLead investigations related to internal defects, customer complaints, supplier quality concerns, and process non-conformances.\nUtilize structured problem-solving methodologies including Root Cause Analysis, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagrams, 8D, and PDCA.\nFacilitate corrective and preventive action activities to eliminate recurring issues.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.\nEscalate systemic quality concerns and drive sustainable corrective actions.\nMonitor quality performance throughout operations.\nSupport containment activities and disposition of non-conforming materials.\nEnsure inspection plans, testing procedures, and quality controls are effectively implemented.\nAssist with new product launches, engineering changes, and process validation activities.\nParticipate in supplier quality improvement efforts and corrective action follow-up.\nKey Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field; equivalent experience may be considered.\n3+ years of manufacturing quality experience.\n1+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.\nExperience with quality systems, audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.\nStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and quality data analysis.\nWorking knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, APQP, or PPAP methodologies.\nASQ certification (CQI, CQT, CQE, or similar).\nCompensation:\nFor this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
