This role is a fully remote position. The Salesforce Solution Architect will establish solution vision, architecture governance, integration strategies, data management frameworks, and platform adoption across the Pool business ecosystem. The role partners with business leaders, product owners, Salesforce administrators, developers, enterprise architects, SAP and Oracle teams, and implementation partners to ensure solutions align with Pentair's business strategy, digital transformation priorities, and technology roadmap.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with deep technical expertise and communicates effectively with executives, business stakeholders, and delivery teams while advancing platform innovation, security, scalability, and maintainability.\nThis posting is for one permanent, direct-hire position. Operations, and business leadership teams.\nLead discovery sessions, solution workshops, architecture reviews, and technology option assessments.\nTranslate business strategies into scalable technology capabilities and measurable outcomes.\nDrive platform rationalization and standardization across business processes.\nSalesforce Solution Architecture\nDesign enterprise-grade solutions across Manufacturing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Lifecycle Management, and Tableau.\nDefine architectural patterns, reference architectures, guardrails, and solution standards.\nEvaluate business requirements and determine the best-fit platform, integration, data, and security approaches.\nEnsure planning capabilities.\nDrive adoption of Manufacturing Cloud across Pool commercial organizations.\nAlign manufacturing, customer planning, revenue forecasting, and account management processes.\nAgentforce and Artificial Intelligence\nDefine the Agentforce and Salesforce AI architecture roadmap for the Pool segment.\nIdentify processes suitable for AI agents, digital assistants, recommendations, and intelligent automation.\nDesign governed AI use cases for customer self-service, sales enablement, service operations, knowledge management, order Partner with security, privacy, data, and compliance stakeholders to establish responsible AI controls and operating practices.\nEvaluate Salesforce AI capabilities and recommend adoption strategies based on business value, risk, and readiness.\nData Cloud and Customer 360 Strategy\nDesign customer data architectures using Salesforce Data Cloud.\nDefine data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, segmentation, calculated insights, and activation patterns.\nEnable unified customer profiles, advanced personalization, analytics, and cross-channel engagement.\nEstablish data governance, quality, lineage, retention, and access standards in partnership with enterprise data teams.\nMarketing Cloud Architecture\nDesign and oversee Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations and enhancements.\nLead customer journey architecture, campaign orchestration, lead management, consent, and segmentation strategies.\nDefine integration patterns among Marketing Cloud, Salesforce CRM, Data Cloud, websites, SAP, Oracle, and external platforms.\nSupport customer lifecycle engagement and marketing analytics capabilities.\nSalesforce CPQ and Commercial Excellence\nLead Salesforce CPQ architecture and quote-to-cash solution strategy.\nDesign product catalog, configuration, pricing, discounting, approvals, contracts, and amendment frameworks.\nPartner with commercial leaders to improve pricing governance, seller experience, quote accuracy, and process efficiency.\nAssess opportunities to modernize commercial capabilities using Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Lifecycle Management.\nEnterprise Integrations\nDesign integration strategies between Salesforce and SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, e-commerce, customer portals, data platforms, marketing systems, and third-party applications.\nCollaborate with integration teams to define API-led, event-driven, batch, and middleware patterns.\nHelp establish canonical data models, system-of-record ownership, error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation approaches.\nEnsure integrations are resilient, scalable, observable, and secure.\nAnalytics and Tableau\nLead reporting and analytics architecture across Salesforce and Tableau.\nDesign executive dashboards, operational reports, semantic models, and KPI frameworks.\nPartner with business leaders to define trusted and actionable metrics for Sales, Marketing, Service, Channel, and Operations.\nPromote self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making while maintaining governance.\nGovernance and Technical Leadership\nEstablish and maintain Salesforce architectural standards and best practices.\nLead technical reviews for strategic programs, projects, and platform enhancements.\nMentor architects, administrators, developers, business analysts, and product owners.\nPromote sound DevSecOps, release governance, environment strategy, testing, and technical debt management.\nCollaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Data, Infrastructure, and vendor partners.\nParticipate in vendor evaluations, statements of work, and strategic technology assessments.\nKey Qualifications:\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n10+ years of Salesforce experience, including 5+ years in a Salesforce Solution Architect, Technical Architect, Enterprise Architect, or comparable architecture role.\nExperience designing and implementing Salesforce solutions in complex, large-scale enterprise environments.\nDemonstrated expertise across Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, Salesforce CPQ, and Tableau reporting.\nExperience integrating Salesforce with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle applications, data platforms, and middleware or enterprise integration platforms.\nStrong knowledge of enterprise architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, security, identity, and application lifecycle management.\nExperience leading distributed delivery teams, implementation partners, and architecture workstreams.\nAbility to communicate architecture decisions, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to both executives and technical teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nSalesforce Certified Application Architect and/or Salesforce Certified System Architect.\nSalesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist, Marketing Cloud Consultant, or relevant AI/Agentforce certification.\nTOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification.\nExperience in manufacturing, distribution, dealer or channel operations, or B2B commercial environments.\nExperience supporting global organizations and harmonizing solutions across regions and business units.\nExperience with MuleSoft or comparable enterprise integration platforms and modern API management practices.\nCompensation:\nFor this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $98400 - $182700 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
