You will be responsible for coordinating and processing outbound shipments to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately, safely, and on time. This position prepares shipping documentation, verifies order accuracy, coordinates transportation activities, and maintains inventory and shipment records within company systems. The Shipping Processor works closely with warehouse personnel, carriers, customer service, and production teams to support efficient distribution operations.\nYou will:\nProcess customer shipments using warehouse management and ERP systems.\nPrepare and validate packing slips, shipping labels, and other shipping documentation.\nVerify order accuracy, quantities, product identification, and packaging prior to shipment.\nCoordinate pickups and communicate shipment status with transportation providers.\nPerform system transactions related to shipping, staging, loading, and inventory movement.\nFollow established standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.\nIdentify opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.\nOperating warehouse equipment\nKey qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nMinimum one year of experience in shipping, warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred: experience with SAP, SAP EWM, and WMS. \nPhysical requirements: frequent standing, walking, bending, keeling, and reaching, regular lifting up to 50 lbs.\nPosition Shift/Hours:\n1st shift: 5:30am- 3:30pm Monday - Friday\nOccasional Overtime, as required\nThis position is temporary with the potential to go permanent\nCompensation:\nThe hourly pay for this role is: $17.50/hr.
