As a CS-Cart Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance, multi-vendor eCommerce websites using the CS-Cart framework. This role will place you at the heart of digital product development, helping clients launch customized storefronts, improve UX, and integrate powerful features for seamless operations.\nYou’ll work with a global team to deliver marketplace and single-vendor solutions that support business goals, improve user journeys, and drive measurable results.\nYou Will Be Responsible For:\nPlatform Customization: Developing and customizing eCommerce websites using CS-Cart (both Multi-Vendor and standard editions).\nModule Development: Creating custom add-ons and plugins based on business requirements, using PHP, JavaScript, and CS-Cart architecture.\nTheme Implementation: Integrating, customizing, or developing themes to deliver responsive and optimized UI across devices.\nAPI Integration: Connecting CS-Cart with third-party tools including payment gateways, shipping APIs, CRM/ERP systems, and analytics platforms.\nPerformance Optimization: Enhancing site performance through clean code, caching strategies, and database tuning.\nOngoing Maintenance: Managing bug fixes, version upgrades, security patches, and platform enhancements.\nTeam Collaboration: Working closely with designers, QA, project managers, and clients to ensure on-time and on-spec delivery of eCommerce solutions.\nThis Role Is For You If:\nYou have 2-5 years of hands-on experience with CS-Cart development.\n\nYou are proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.\n\nYou have experience with Smarty templating and MVC frameworks.\n\nYou are familiar with CS-Cart add-on architecture and API structure.\n\nYou understand the key components of an eCommerce system-product management, checkout, order handling, and user roles.\n\nYou are capable of handling projects independently and collaborating in agile, distributed teams.\n\nBonus Points If You Have:\nExperience with CS-Cart Multi-Vendor version and building marketplace functionality.\n\nKnowledge of mobile optimization, PWA, or headless eCommerce.\n\nFamiliarity with Git, Docker, or CI/CD pipelines.\n\nWorked on complex integrations such as real-time inventory, subscription billing, or multilingual storefronts.\n\nExposure to SEO, Google Tag Manager, or structured data integration.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nFull project ownership and creative freedom on eCommerce builds\n\nCompetitive salary plus milestone-based incentives\n\nRemote-first work environment with global exposure\n\nCareer advancement opportunities into roles like eCommerce Lead, Platform Architect, or Product Consultant\n\nA chance to contribute to dynamic projects in retail, logistics, tech, and B2B commerce\n\nAbout Pentoz:\nPentoz is a tech-forward company delivering rapid digital transformation through product development and innovation.
