This role entails collaborative strategic planning with cross-functional teams and a results-oriented approach to accomplish objectives.\nThis individual will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Quality, Production, and other cross functional teams.\n Specific Duties and Responsibilities\nUses Continuous Improvement tools to identify opportunities and lead projects aimed at optimizing operational costs and maximizing manpower, equipment, space, and investments.\nPossess a thorough understanding of various lean manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures Guiding the team in enhancing operational efficiency by establishing Flow within the project area using video analysis tools, developing Standard Work procedures for all operators involved, employing labor analysis techniques to streamline processes, optimizing Line and Workstation layouts, implementing Mistake Proofing and Visual Control techniques, and establishing Performance Metrics for sustained improvements and effective progress monitoring.*\nLead the team to improve productivity, reduce the lead time and maximize the use of space through effective implementation of lean principles and ensure successful execution of Lean projects.\nReview production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, work instructions, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services.\nDrive Time Study Analysis and identification of Value / Non-Value-added activities. These studies should maximize workflow and space utilization and should be incorporated into subsequent presentation of findings, planning and implementation of improvement plans.\nLead the team to conduct thorough analysis of base operations in the project area, identifying and quantifying improvement opportunities, and developing prioritized action plans.\nWork independently with manufacturing, quality, and R&D engineers to identify equipment and process improvement opportunities, and improvements in workspaces.\nDevelop detailed work plans and strategies for projects in collaboration with other cross functional teams.\nEnsures facility efficiency and workplace safety, maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.\nAdhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures.\nUnderstand relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adhere to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company.\nEnsure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.\nPerform other work-related duties as assigned.\n Position Qualifications\nMinimum education and experience:\nBachelor's degree required in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with 4+ years of experience in the medical device or related industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nAdditional qualifications:\nMedical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry experience desired.\n4+ years of Continuous Improvement experience in a medical device industry role desired\nComprehensive understanding and knowledge manufacturing processes and clean room practice.\nDemonstrate potential to design, analyze and implement industrial engineering techniques.\nCreativity, critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills required.\nExcellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to diverse audiences, leadership skills desired.\nHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detail\nProficiency with MS office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Project), AutoCAD, and SAP\nExcellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required with ability to multitask and establish priorities on assignments.\nWorking Conditions\nGeneral office and cleanroom environments.\nThis is an onsite position.\nWillingness and ability to work on site.\nMay have some business travels of 0 -5%.\nPotential exposure to blood-borne pathogens.\nRequires some lifting and moving of up to 25 pounds.\nMust be able to move between buildings and floors.\nMust be able to
