We do the heavy lifting of data collection and standardization to enable companies to build and scale innovative, compliant data solutions.\nAs the Manager of IT and Security at PDL, you’ll oversee security, compliance, tools administration, helpdesk support, and other information technology needs. We don't need AI to replace the human touch.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nManage the IT & Security Team\n\nOversee the IT & Security project roadmap, helpdesk workflows, and prioritization process for cross-functional initiatives such as migrations, system rollouts, and security enhancements\n\nMaintain a structured, automated, and audit-ready set of security and compliance processes, procedures, and protocols\n\nPartner closely with product and engineering, and departmental stakeholders on shared security initiatives and clear project plans for complex technical changes\n\nOversee the company-wide application authentication stance, access management standards, and disaster recovery processes for critical systems\n\nFacilitate vendor relationships, evaluations, contracts, and renewals to ensure tools spend is carefully and thoughtfully managed\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n3-5 years of experience managing an IT, Security, or Technical Operations team\n\n3+ years of experience working in a fully remote environment\n\nExperience managing IT project roadmaps, vendor relationships, and enterprise system migrations or rollouts.\n\nWorking knowledge of enterprise identity and access management, authentication standards, and disaster recovery planning\n\nStrong organizational and project management skills\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nExperience working with data via multiple delivery methods\n\nAWS security (IAM, CloudTrail, Inspector, Organizations + SCP)\n\nSSO + identity provider (preferably Okta)\n\nCompliance automation (e.g., Vanta)\n\nBasic scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)\n\nDesired Skills & Experience\nPrevious experience at a data company is not required but is always appreciated\n\nRemote security tooling (Tailscale, SentinelOne, 1Password)\n\nExposure to infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Pulumi, Terraform)\n\nMonitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog)\n\nSalary: $160,000 - $180,000\nBenefits\nStock\n\nCompetitive Salaries\n\nUnlimited paid time off\n\nMedical, dental, & vision insurance\n\n401k\n\nHealth, fitness, and office stipends\n\nThe permanent ability to work wherever and however you want\n\nWhy People Data Labs?\nGreat People make great teams.
