You will be delivering workflow solutions for various business processes and coordinating with business users to determine and suggest solutions for various scenarios in procurement, supply-chain and finance modules. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth, understands functional processes, and collaborates effectively with business stakeholders and BASIS/security team.\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n\n- Design, configure, and enhance workflows in SAP to automate business processes, approval processes and notification processes.\n\n- Implement event linkages, BOR/Classes, task containers, deadline monitoring, substitutions, and escalations.\n\n- Develop workflow user tasks (UI5/Fiori My Inbox, SAP GUI, Web Dynpro) and handle error monitoring (SWI1, SWIA).\n\n- Create custom workflow templates, rules (BRF+, Rule Resolution via Function Module/Org Object), and inbox optimization.\n\n- Strong knowledge of various business workflows across all SAP modules.\n\n- Develop and deliver SAP ABAP development tasks for various modules of S/4 HANA.\n\n- Independently deliver end-to-end ABAP solutions right from design, coding, testing and deployment.\n\n- Monitor and troubleshoot SAP workflows in production system.\n\n- Review functional requirements and write technical design documents.\n\n- Perform code reviews.\n\n- Proficiency in debugging ABAP code, identifying performance bottlenecks, and implementing optimization strategies.\n\nRequired Skills and Qualifications : \n\n- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.\n\n- 7+ years of experience in SAP Workflow, BRF+, ABAP, OOP and other new trends in ABAP like CDS, OData etc.\n\n- Overall 5+ years of experience with SAP workflow design and development.\n\n- Proficiency in using workflow tools like workflow builder, business object builder and UWL.\n\n- Strong SAP workflow experience for providing design and development guidance for key SAP business processes.\n\n- Experience with SAP BTP and should be able to work on services over BTP.\n\nSkills\nSAP Workflow, SAP ABAP, SAP ERP, SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP Basis, SAP UI5, SAP Fiori, SAP SCM, SAP BRF","description_format":"text","description_chars":2350,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":10,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"India","iso":"IN","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-25T22:00:00Z"}],"liveness":{"score":12,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":0.85,"p_active":0.39,"p_room":0.35,"age_days":26,"expected_fill_days":7,"reasons":["seen:26","agency","velocity","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-09-30T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/people-impact-sap-workflowabap-developer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/people-impact-sap-workflowabap-developer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-09-30T21:50:06Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"search","counted_by":"address","units_charged":0,"used_today":0,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":null,"resets_at":"2026-10-01T00:00:00Z"}}}
