Summary:\n\nWe are looking for skilled Android Infotainment Developers to develop, enhance, and stabilize Android Infotainment Applications and Middleware (MW) for automotive embedded systems.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Android application development, AOSP, middleware, and software stabilization.\n\nThis role involves developing new application features, resolving software defects, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality automotive software in an Agile environment.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Develop and enhance Android GUI, Application, and Middleware (MW) software features for automotive infotainment systems.\n\n- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android Framework, and AOSP.\n\n- Perform software stabilization by resolving audit findings, customer-reported issues, field defects, and SQA observations.\n\n- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA), implement corrective actions, and ensure timely defect resolution.\n\n- Prepare and maintain software documentation, including SRS, SADS, and SUDS.\n\n- Manage project activities and issue tracking using JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.\n\n- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-up meetings.\n\n- Follow coding standards, perform code reviews, resolve static code analysis findings, and ensure compliance with development processes.\n\n- Support software integration, validation, CI activities, and source code management using Git.\n\n- Collaborate with architects, testers, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful software delivery.\n\nMandatory Skills:\n\n- 3 - 8 years of experience in Android application development for embedded or automotive systems.\n\n- Strong programming experience in Java and Kotlin.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Android Framework, AOSP, and Jetpack Compose.\n\n- Experience in Android Application and Middleware (MW) development.\n\n- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and software stabilization skills.\n\n- Experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and software defect resolution.\n\n- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Git.\n\n- Knowledge of Embedded Linux and build environments such as Yocto.\n\n- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.\n\n- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nPreferred Skills:\n\n- Experience in Automotive Infotainment (IVI) or Human Machine Interface (HMI) development.\n\n- Knowledge of Android platform architecture and automotive software development.\n\n- Exposure to automotive communication protocols such as CAN and tools like CANoe.\n\n- Familiarity with automotive software development lifecycle, quality processes, and validation methodologies.\n\n- Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and software version control.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\n- Experience working with Automotive OEMs or
