appropriate corporate data warehouse/s, corporate data lake/s, cubes for self-service reporting, and advanced analytics & AI deliverables.\nAs a Cloud Data Architect, your responsibilities will include:\nDesign, build and evolve scalable Enterprise Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures on Microsoft Azure, aligned with enterprise architecture principles, security requirements and cloud best practices.\nArchitect data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Databricks as core components of the enterprise data platform, selecting and integrating capabilities according to workload and architectural requirements.\nDesign modern data ingestion and orchestration patterns using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory and Azure Data Factory, supporting batch and incremental ELT/ETL workloads across heterogeneous enterprise systems.\nDesign and implement Medallion Architecture patterns (Bronze, Silver and Gold) using Delta Lake/Lakehouse technologies to provide scalable, governed and reusable enterprise data products.\nIntegrate diverse data sources, including CRM, ERP, digital platforms, operational applications, APIs, multimedia sources and custom enterprise systems.\nDesign scalable analytical and semantic architectures using Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Databricks, supporting both centrally governed enterprise reporting and self-service analytics.\nApply data democratization and self-service analytics principles, ensuring secure, scalable and governed access to trusted enterprise data.\nLead and support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives, establishing consistent and governed master entities and golden records across enterprise systems.\nWork closely with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, Data Science and AI teams to translate business and technical requirements into robust end-to-end data architectures.\nEstablish architecture standards for data modelling, integration, data quality, metadata, lineage, security and lifecycle management.\nDesign architectures that support AI and Machine Learning workloads, enabling governed access to enterprise data for advanced analytics, ML and AI applications.\nMonitor and optimize data platform architecture and workloads, balancing performance, scalability, reliability and cloud cost efficiency.\nDefine and promote CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code and DataOps practices for enterprise data solutions.\nStay current with developments across Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks and the broader Azure data ecosystem, recommending architectural improvements and new capabilities where they provide measurable business value.\nProvide technical leadership, architectural guidance and mentorship to Data & Analytics teams on modern cloud data architecture and engineering practices.\nMaintain comprehensive and up-to-date architecture documentation, standards, design patterns and technical decision records.\nWhat we look for:\nProven experience as a Cloud Data Architect, Data Architect, Senior Data Engineer or equivalent, designing and delivering modern cloud data platforms.\nStrong hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure data ecosystem, particularly: \nMicrosoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Factory, OneLake, Warehouses and Power BI.\nAzure Databricks, including Delta Lake, Lakehouse and Medallion Architecture patterns.\n Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).\nAzure Data Factory / Fabric Data Factory.\nStrong understanding of modern Enterprise Data Warehouse and Lakehouse architectures, dimensional modelling and enterprise data modelling principles.\nHands-on experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines, incremental data ingestion and integration patterns across complex enterprise environments.\nStrong SQL/T-SQL skills and experience working with large-scale analytical datasets.\nExperience with Python, PySpark, Spark and Databricks notebooks is highly desirable.\nStrong knowledge of Power BI, semantic modelling and DAX, particularly within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.\nExperience with data governance, metadata management, data lineage and Master Data Management concepts and technologies.\nUnderstanding of cloud security, access control, networking, performance optimisation and FinOps principles within enterprise data platforms.\nExperience with Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD practices for data engineering and analytics solutions.\nRelevant Microsoft and/or Databricks certifications are highly desirable.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or another relevant discipline.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures.\nStrong commitment to quality, delivery and collaborative teamwork across business and technology functions.\nExcellent command of English; additional languages are considered
