For the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for Data Engineer (Google Cloud / BigQuery).
Your duties will include:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data warehouses and data models.
- Build and optimize scalable ELT pipelines processing large volumes of data.
- Design and develop solutions leveraging Google BigQuery.
- Optimize data processing performance and query costs.
- Orchestrate data workflows using Apache Airflow.
- Collaborate closely with analysts, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Leverage modern AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements that must be met:
Proven experience in designing, building, and developing data warehouses, including strong knowledge of data modeling concepts.
Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, including: Table partitioning, Data clustering, Query and cost optimization
Strong SQL expertise, including optimization of complex analytical queries.
Experience designing and building scalable, high-performance ELT processes.
Practical experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
Experience working with Claude Code and other AI coding assistants as part of the software development lifecycle.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Very good English and Polish
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Data Lake and Lakehouse architectures.
Experience with CI/CD processes for data platforms.
Python programming skills for data processing and automation.
Experience working in Agile environments.
