We work with clients all over the world.\nFor the project that we are working on with our partner, we are looking for Senior Database Engineer / PostgreSQL.\nYour duties will include:\nDesigning PostgreSQL database architecture for large-scale systems.\nScaling databases as the number of users, queries, and data volumes grows.\nDiagnosing and resolving database performance and stability issues.\nOptimizing SQL queries, indexes, data schemas, and PostgreSQL configuration.\nAnalyzing query plans, transactions, locks, and concurrency issues.\nDesigning replication, partitioning, and high-availability solutions.\nSupporting the team in data modeling and secure data isolation.\nDefining database monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning.\nRequirements that must be met:\nStrong hands-on knowledge of PostgreSQL.\nExperience in designing and scaling databases used in real production systems.\nVery good knowledge of SQL, query plans, indexes, transactions, and locking mechanisms.\nAbility to independently diagnose and resolve database performance issues.\nExperience with replication, partitioning, backups, and high availability.\nKnowledge of multitenancy, data isolation, and row-level security.\nAbility to work effectively with developers, DevOps engineers, and architects.\nVery good English and Polish\nNice to have:\nExperience with high-traffic or transaction-heavy systems.\nKnowledge of cloud environments, preferably GCP.\nExperience with database monitoring and observability.\nKnowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.\nFamiliarity with AI or agentic coding tools would be an advantage, but is not a key requirement.\nResponsibilities\n140 -
