# Cyber Engineer

Opportunity PeopleTec is currently seeking a Cyber Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location. We are seeking a cyber engineer interested in joining an award-winning company and working with cutting-edge missile defense modeling and simulation technologies. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic Huntsville-based team providing technical leadership on state-of-the-art system-of-systems frameworks. This is a full-time, on-site position. Duties Include: Supporting cloud and container security operations Securing Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments, implementing continuous authorization (cATO), and integrating DevSecOps practices across hybrid cloud platforms Collaborating in a fast-paced environment and contributing to defensive operations and risk management frameworks Qualifications Required Skills/Experience: Knowledge of cloud environment, e.g., Amazon AWS, Azure Proficiency in Python scripting, automation, or tooling Hands-on experience with containerization, e.g., Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, Podman, Rancher Ability to work within classified/sensitive networks Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work.
