This position plays a key role in defining, analyzing, and managing requirements spanning the entire system life cycle - from concept development through testing and deployment.\nDuties:\nDevelop/maintain code for Ground Test and Flight Test data analysis required by MDA/SEQV. Coordinate with other developers collaborating on code modifications and analysis tools within a code repository of thousands of executable lines of python code housed in a git repository environment.\nWrite Python, MATLAB, and shell command scripts to verify and validate test system requirements for Missile Defense Elements using Ground Test and Flight Test data.\nExecute System Interface Control Document (SICD) requirements checkout using MATLAB requirements analysis code against tactical message log data recorded from flight and ground test data sources.\nDevelop scripts to import, parse, and extract Missile Defense Data Center (MDDC) ground test and flight test data to be used for MDA/SEQV activities including Threat V&V analysis, Core Truth Model (CTM) analysis, SICD analysis, and System Federation Validation Events (SFVE) / System Post Flight Reconstruction (SPFR) performance parameter analysis.\nQualifications\nRequired Skills/Experience:\n5-8+ years of relevant experience.\nProven experience in systems engineering supporting missile defense or other complex defense systems.\nMust have a strong ability to use Python, MATLAB, and ability to execute operating system shell command scripts\nStrong understanding of MDA system architectures, lifecycle processes, and verification/validation. \nAbility to translate high-level mission objectives into detailed technical requirements.\nExcellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen.\nAn active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work.
