We take pride in the fact that not only are our products produced right here in Upstate New York, but we also go to great lengths to source high quality, innovative materials that are USA manufactured.\nSaratoga Horseworks is looking for an Expeditor to join their team!\nRequirements\nPosition Summary:\nCoordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within and between departments to support the production schedule.\nResponsibilities include reviewing and distributing production and work schedules; working with department Supervisors to track progress and confirm completion dates; competing reports on work status, inventory levels, costs, and production issues; and overseeing inventory accuracy along with the receiving of materials from both internal and external sources.\nComputer skills, strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to multi task.\nKnowledge of ERP systems; experience with Epicor is a plus.\nProfessional demeanor and strong internal customer service skills.\nCritical thinking skills.\nExperience with physical inventory and/or cycle counting.\nExperience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.\nSpanish language skills are a plus.\nEquipment, Machines, and Software Used:\nWill be expected to use a computer (email and ERP system), cutting machine, grommet punch, and other production equipment as needed.\nRequires close mental and visual attention to inspect incoming materials and in-process products.\nMust be able to work on a computer, enter and maintain data in the ERP system, and ensure production lines receive accurate materials.\nThe work is physically demanding. Must be able to reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, use fingers, feet, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.\nMust be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 25 pounds continuously to move materials and products.
