This is a hands-on role supporting our Factory (abattoir) through preventative maintenance, electrical fault finding and breakdown response.\nIf you enjoy solving problems, working with automated equipment and being part of a close-knit maintenance team, we'd like to hear from you.\nKey Responsibilities\nDiagnose and assist with the repair of electrical faults on production equipment\nSafely disconnect and reconnect motors, drives and plant equipment\nCarry out preventative and corrective maintenance\nAssist to install, replace and commission electrical components\nRead and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals\nComplete maintenance records\nRespond to maintenance calls and requests\nParticipate in shutdowns, plant upgrades and after-hours breakdowns\nWork safely while complying with WHS, GMP and food safety requirements\nAbout You\nA trade qualification or proven experience in industrial maintenance.\nA solid electrical background with the ability to assist in electrical fault finding and equipment maintenance.\nExperience working alongside licensed electricians in a manufacturing or processing environment.\nMechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out routine maintenance and repairs.\nWelding skills, stainless steel welding highly regarded\nA proactive attitude, strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.\nWhat We Offer\n·Competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience plus super\n·Paid overtime\n·Full Time hours, 5 days a week with some flexibility\n·Onsite parking\n·All uniforms and PPE supplied\n·Free and discounted products\nBiosecurity\nDue to our strict bio-security constraints, we cannot consider applicants with the following:\nHave birds or pigs of any variety at their place of residence or are in regular contact with any type of birds or pigs;
