The Talent Solutions team coordinates with Per Scholas local and national resources to identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with new and existing corporate employer partners to place successful graduates in jobs with them and create hiring pipelines for our graduates, achieving an 80% job attainment target for each cohort. Additionally, the Manager will also support recent graduates and alumni with career advisement such as finding, responding, and preparing for job interviews, as well as advising students 1:1 and in small groups on career advancement opportunities to ensure successful placement in relevant jobs in the technology sector. \nWHAT YOU’LL DO: \nEmployer Outreach \nDevelop and execute engagement strategies to foster long-term partnerships with employers in the technology sector.\nCollaborate with employer partners to identify their talent needs and align Per Scholas graduates with suitable opportunities.\nOrganize and lead employer networking events, informational sessions, and industry panels to connect graduates with hiring companies.\nCoordinate employer site visits and job shadowing opportunities to enhance graduates’ understanding of industry expectations.\nMaintain ongoing communication with employer partners to gather feedback on graduate performance and refine engagement strategies.Work closely with employer partners to create customized hiring programs, apprenticeships, or direct placement pipelines.\n\nLeverage labor market trends and employer insights to refine job placement strategies and expand employer networks.\nExperience in meeting and exceeding business development goals to ensure job attainment quotas are met.\nCareer Advisement \nProvide personalized guidance and support to individuals regarding job attainment and career progression within their organization. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to recommend graduates for specific job requisitions, leveraging insights into individual skills and talents.\nConduct one-on-one sessions to address career concerns, strategize career goals, and provide ongoing support throughout their professional journey within the organization.\nConduct job readiness assessments on learners to ensure their readiness for graduation and future employment. \nCo-manage alumni outreach and activities for students graduating from Per Scholas programs \nData Management \nMonitor and manage student outcome and placement data in Per Scholas Salesforce database as well as up-and-out metrics for internal and client reporting \nMaintain accurate records of career advisement sessions and contribute to reports evaluating the success of career development initiatives. \nProvide feedback from employers to the product development team to strengthen our curriculum and services \nWHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US: \nProfessional Qualifications \n3-5 years of related professional experience, preferably in sales/business development, career development, and/or adult workforce development \nCareer and job development with specific experience in job-readiness/workplace skills training \nAbility to generate or leverage existing relationships with employers \nExperience with social media platforms \nData-savvy and metrics-oriented \nKnowledge of Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Apollo is a plus \nPersonal Characteristics \nYou thrive in a creative, inventive, fast-paced startup environment with people who are passionate about their work and mission. \nYou are data-driven, result-oriented, and a forward-looking catalyst for social change. \nYou have a collaborative and flexible work style. All employees are eligible for Holiday pay upon hire (a total of 22 holidays annually, including a week off for Independence day and a week before the New Year). Full-Time Benefits Eligible employees also receive 80 Wellness Hours to use for Sick, Safe, or Personal reasons and accrue Vacation at a rate of 8 hours at the beginning of every month, supporting rest, recharge, and work-life balance. Vacation accruals increase with tenure. Part-time employees are afforded time off on a prorated basis and in accordance with local requirements. \nComprehensive Medical Coverage: Benefit eligible employees can choose from multiple medical plans through Cigna or Kaiser Permanente (where available), with options to fit your needs.
