You will build and evolve our cloud infrastructure, implement end-to-end observability, and drive automation across deployment and operations - working closely with engineering teams to make systems more resilient, observable, and easy to operate.\n\nYour Tech Environment\n\nYou will work in a modern, cloud-native stack with clear ownership and a defined direction:\nCloud & Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM), Kubernetes, Docker\n\nCI/CD & IaC: GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Terraform (or similar)\n\nObservability: Prometheus + Grafana, CloudWatch → OpenSearch / ELK (target), OpenTelemetry (roadmap)\n\nData & Messaging: PostgreSQL, event-driven message brokers (AMQP / Kafka patterns)\n\nPlatform: Java / Spring Boot microservices, high-load financial transaction processing, external bank and payment integrations\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nDesign, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS - EKS, EC2, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM\n\nManage and optimise Kubernetes (EKS) clusters for reliability and performance\n\nImplement and evolve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation\n\nBuild observability systems - centralised logging, metrics dashboards, alerting, and distributed tracing\n\nDefine and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets across platform services\n\nLead incident management and response processes; drive post-incident reviews\n\nCollaborate with engineers to reduce failure points and enable self-healing systems\n\nContribute to security and compliance posture - FCA, PCI DSS requirements\n\nDrive infrastructure cost optimisation and efficiency initiative\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n5–7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles\n\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)\n\nProven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines - GitLab CI preferred\n\nInfrastructure as Code experience - Terraform or equivalent\n\nSolid understanding of distributed systems, high availability, and fault tolerance\n\nExperience with monitoring, alerting, and logging systems in production environments\n\nAbility to configure and setup, Db management close to DBA\n\nFamiliarity with networking fundamentals and cloud security practices\n\nStrong ownership mindset - comfortable working autonomously and taking end-to-end responsibility\n\nNice to Have\n\nExperience in fintech, payments, or other regulated environments\n\nKnowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements\n\nHands-on experience with OpenSearch / ELK, Prometheus / Grafana, or OpenTelemetry\n\nInterest or experience in AIOps or ML-based monitoring and anomaly detection\n\nExposure to event-driven architectures and Kafka / AMQP\n\nWhat You’ll Get\n\nCompetitive, market-aligned compensation - discussed openly at first interview\n\nFull ownership of platform reliability on a live fintech product - not a sandbox\n\nOpportunity to build SRE practices and observability tooling from the ground up\n\nExposure to modern cloud-native and observability stack\n\nGenuine growth path toward Senior SRE / Platform Lead or Cloud Architect\n\nFully remote setup with flexible hours and an international, highly skilled team\n\nSounds like a match?
