work closely with the CTO and Engineering leadership to turn technical and strategic priorities into structured programmes, coordinated execution and predictable delivery across multiple teams.\n\nThis role is ideal for someone who combines strong programme management skills with a solid understanding of software engineering, modern technology environments and business-critical financial systems.\n\nYour Tech Environment\n\nYou will work in a modern, cloud-native stack with clear ownership and no legacy surprises:\n\nBackend: Java 17+, Spring Boot (Core, Security, Data, Cloud), REST APIs, event-driven services, Camunda\n\nInfrastructure: AWS (EKS, RDS, CloudWatch), Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD\n\nData & Messaging: PostgreSQL, AMQP / Kafka-style message brokers, event-driven architecture\n\nObservability: OpenSearch / ELK, Prometheus / Micrometer, OpenTelemetry (in progress)\n\nIntegrations: Open Banking providers, banking partners, external payment systems\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nCoordinate technical initiatives across multiple Engineering teams, keeping scope, timelines and dependencies clear\n\nBuild and maintain delivery plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, blockers and key actions\n\nTrack progress across multiple teams and provide clear status updates on delivery, risks and dependencies\n\nWork with Engineering and Product teams to break down high-level initiatives into clear deliverables, milestones and actionable work\n\nCoordinate cross-team dependencies and follow up with owners to ensure actions are completed on time\n\nMaintain clear ownership of open actions, decisions, risks and blockers throughout the programme lifecycle\n\nPrepare and maintain Confluence documentation, including programme plans, meeting notes, decisions, status updates and delivery documentation\n\nOrganise planning, status and delivery meetings, ensuring agendas, actions and decisions are clearly documented\n\nSupport backlog and requirements discussions, helping ensure work is sufficiently defined before Engineering planning\n\nPrepare regular delivery reports and dashboards for Engineering and Product stakeholders\n\nMaintain visibility across technology initiatives, including payments, banking integrations, card processing, liquidity, observability and platform development\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve Jira workflows, reporting, planning routines and delivery processes\n\nFollow up on decisions and actions from technical and cross-functional meetings through to completion\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n3+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management or a similar role\n\nExperience coordinating technical projects or initiatives involving Engineering teams\n\nHands-on experience using Jira for project planning, backlog tracking, dependencies, risks, dashboards and reporting\n\nGood working knowledge of Confluence for programme documentation, meeting notes, decisions and status reporting\n\nExperience setting up or maintaining Jira boards, workflows, dashboards or other delivery tracking tools\n\nAbility to structure technical work into clear milestones, deliverables, owners and timelines\n\nExperience tracking project progress and identifying risks, blockers and dependencies early\n\nGood understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices\n\nStrong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail\n\nPractical understanding of Agile, Scrum or Kanban\n\nNice to Have\n\nFamiliarity with regulated payment environments, including PCI DSS, AML/KYC or EMI compliance requirements\n\nBackground in software engineering, data or another technology
