Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nPosition Overview:\nWe are seeking an engineer to support the design, development, automation, and sustainment of cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD environments supporting mission-critical applications. This role will focus on building and maintaining highly automated, scalable, and reliable development and deployment environments across AWS and Kubernetes platforms.\nThis position offers an opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies while supporting highly available environments and large-scale automated software development and deployment pipelines.\nIn this role, you will work with and be responsible for:\nExperience with Maven dependency management \nExperience building and maintaining cascading pipelines and triggers is strongly preferred\nTwo or more years of experience authoring, documenting, and utilizing Terraform to automate configuration management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\nTwo years of experience using HashiCorp Packer to build AMIs within CI pipelines\nFluency with ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes\nExperience deploying and maintaining autoscaling fleets of dozens to hundreds of GitLab runners\nBenefits:Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees supporting this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap, and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\nQualifications\nBasic Requirements:\nActive TS/SCI security clearance polygraph is required.\nSix (6) years of Configuration Management experience on programs of comparable scope and complexity. \nBachelor’s degree in technical or business discipline.\nFour (4) years of additional relevant Configuration Management experience may be substituted for a degree.\nTarget Salary Range\n$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
