You’ll collaborate with top engineers, analysts, and FAA stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet the highest performance standards.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship Required\nMust have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance\nBachelor’s degree and 12 years experience or Masters degree and 10 years experience or Associate’s degree and 14 years years experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years experience\nSystems Engineering experience supporting complex, integrated Cloud software systems.\nExperience performing full lifecycle systems engineering activities including cloud requirements development, system design, integration, verification, and validation (V&V).\nDemonstrated ability to conduct trade studies, system analyses, and performance evaluations.\nExperience developing and managing cloud technical requirements, interface definitions, and architecture documentation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or similar federal agencies (DOT, DHS, DoD).\nFamiliarity with National Airspace System (NAS) architecture, radar systems, surveillance technologies, or air traffic management systems.\nKnowledge of FAA modernization initiatives (e.g., NextGen).\nExperience using systems modeling tools such as MBSE, SysML, DOORS, Cameo, or similar requirements management platforms.\nFamiliarity with safety-critical systems engineering and compliance-driven environments.\nExperience supporting system certification, readiness reviews, or operational deployment.\nProfessional certifications such as INCOSE ASEP/CSEP, PMP, or related credentials.\nDegree in Systems Engineering or related discipline.\nExperience in cloud security engineering within a cloud environment\nAWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Security, Data Analytics, etc)\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
