The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in data preparation, visualization, and automation, with hands-on experience in SQL, Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server. This role will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights, developing scalable dashboards, and supporting enterprise reporting initiatives. This position will be 100% remote.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop advanced T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.\nReview execution plans, indexing strategies, performance plans\nAnalyze, ingest and/or correct data within an EDW.\nDevelop and optimize data workflows and ETL processes using Tableau Prep and Python.\nManage content, permissions, data sources, and performance tuning within Tableau and SQL Server.\nWrite complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze structured and unstructured data.\nCollaborate with business partners to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.\nEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and quality through rigorous validation and testing.\nSupport BI governance, documentation, and best practices across the analytics environment.\nAutomate recurring reporting tasks using Python or SQL-based solutions.\nDesign, build, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using Tableau.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizenship required.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a T5/SSBI federally adjudicated clearance\nMinimum of 5 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD\nAdvanced SQL skills with experience querying large datasets.\nDemonstrated experience in designing, creating, implementing, and optimizing database indexes to improve query performance.\nHands on experience with database performance tuning, including analyzing query execution plans, identifying performance bottlenecks, optimizing SQL queries, and recommending solutions to improve database performance.\nHands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting an Enterprise Data Warehouse.\nExpertise in business analytics and translating complex data into clear actionable insights for non-technical users.\nHands-on experience with creating SOP’s and extensive documentation for workflows and processes.\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExpertise in Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Server administration.\nExpertise with Databricks.\nWorking experience using Python for data cleaning, transformation, and automation.\nFamiliarity with AI and machine learning.\nKnowledge of APIs, scripting, or workflow orchestration tools.\nExperience with version control systems such as Git.\nFamiliarity with data governance, metadata management, or enterprise BI strategy.\nFamiliarity with cloud technologies (AWS) for data storage, compute, or analytics.\nSoft Skills\nAbility to translate business needs into insightful solutions.\nStrong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.\nClear documentation and communication in fast-paced environments.\nAbility to adapt to a constantly changing environment while creating consistency and logic among projects.\nAbility to work multiple projects at once and adjust priorities as needed by the business.\nTarget Salary Range\n$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
