The data scientist will contribute to intelligence production and support the creation of internal capabilities to enhance and enable the effectiveness of analytic teams. The ideal candidate has experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC), strong attention to detail and time management skills, and the ability to perform effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.\nKey Responsibilities of this role include:\nAnalyzing data collect and recommending opportunities to automate processes;\nWorking with colleagues to collaborate with internal and external partners to support the development of data collect strategies and opportunities to enhance that collect;\nSupporting the ingest, use, and management of data while ensuring all activity adheres to applicable customer and community standards;\nMaintaining quality standards as directed by the program leadership team and supporting the implementation of corrective actions as needed;\nEngaging with colleagues to support initiatives designed to enhance customer tools and close capabilities gaps\n****This is contingent upon contract award****\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nCurrent TS/SCI clearance with polygraph;\nBS/BA and 2+ years of relevant experience, MS/MA and 0+ years of relevant experience, or no degree and 6+ years of relevant experience;\n4 years of additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree;\nData science background with experience using multiple programming languages such as Python, R, and Ruby;\nAbility to provide technical support to enhance data management and database creation;\nExperience correlating and interpreting large amounts of data and detailing findings in a clear, concise manner;\nExperience with data visualization and reporting;\nProven interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills;\nAbility to effectively communicate with diverse technical and non-technical audiences;\nAbility to apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues independently with minimal supervision\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience supporting national-level customers;\nExperience working in the customer’s operational environment;\nKnowledge of IC policies and procedures and the ability to apply that knowledge to effectively meet customer needs\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
