In this role, you will identify business trends and solve complex problems through advanced big data analysis. You will interpret results from multiple data sources using a wide range of techniques - from statistical analysis and data aggregation to complex data mining and design and implement high-value business solutions that directly support mission outcomes.\nDay to Day Responsibilities:\nDevelop rapid analysis scripts, visualization prototypes, and interactive dashboards tailored to project needs.\nPrepare and present analysis reports, visioning session materials, and project documentation.\nApply appropriate analysis techniques based on available data and project requirements.\nDeliver products that meet Business Unit needs and are usable with minimal training.\nEnsure all documentation is accurate, clear, and free of errors.\nDesign and develop mathematical optimization models and source code/scripts to support analytical solutions.\nProduce translational documentation for use in analytical and visualization product development.\nPrepare proposal presentations and project result documentation.\nEnsure model parameters and functions are appropriate for the given need and available data.\nMeet project timelines while maintaining high-quality deliverables.\nData Engineering & Architecture\nPrepare and manage big data pipelines to support business solutions.\nImplement data models and develop databases aligned with organizational objectives.\nCollaborate across business units to ensure solutions are scalable, accurate, and actionable.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field along 8+ years expeirence.\nActive Public Trust clearance\nFour (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. If degree is not in an applicable field, four (4) additional years of related experience is required.\nProficiency in SQL and Python and/or R.\nStrong analytical background with academic or professional grounding in data science, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings for non-technical stakeholders.\nDemonstrated ability to work across multiple industries and adapt quickly to complex, dynamic environments.\nUS Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) and must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in last 5 years. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
