This role works with other developers in low-code application development that drives digital process transformation, oversees knowledge lifecycle management, and ensures delivery of actionable insights through executive-level dashboards.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and manage applications using the Microsoft Power Platform suite including Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reporting. \nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.\nDeep understanding of SQL, MS Dataverse, and underlying data structures. \n Power AppsBuild production-ready canvas or model-driven apps.\nImplement advanced formulas and component libraries.\nIntegrate multiple data sources and manage relational data in Dataverse.\nUse custom connectors (simple ones) and environment variables.\nImplement role-based security and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) basics (Dev/Test/Prod).\n\n Power AutomateDesign multi-step, branching flows with error handling.\nWork with approvals, expressions, advanced conditions.\nBuild flows that integrate systems across the business (Dataverse, Azure AD, external APIs).\nTroubleshoot performance, concurrency, retry policies.\n\n Power BILeverage intermediate Power BI skills to build and share insightful reports, applying data visualization best practices to deliver clear and accurate analytics. \nDevelop and maintain Power BI executive dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and decision ready insights. \nWrite intermediate DAX measures (time intelligence, CALCULATE functions).\nAutomate refreshes and use gateway connections.\nComfortable with Power Query for basic data shaping and cleaning. \nApply row-level security (RLS) and workspace governance practices.\n\n General / PlatformApply best practices for naming, security, solution structure.\nUnderstand licensing implications and environment strategy.\nParticipate in architectural discussions.\nTroubleshoot and optimize apps, flows, and reports.\n\nCollaborate with business analysts, backend developers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with organizational needs.\nOversee organizational knowledge management, including SOP creation, storage, sharing, and content lifecycle governance. \nTrack and report KPIs to assess performance of knowledge management and process automation systems. \nProvide training and support for junior staff using Power Platform tools. \nStrong communication and ability to lead cross-functional development initiatives.\nOther tasks as assigned.\nPrior DHA, Military Health System, or DoD experience desired.\nWork Hours: Monday-Friday 0800-1600 (flexible).\nTravel: occasional travel may be required to support customer events and meetings.\nQualifications\n5 years with BS/BA; 9 years with a high school diploma\nDemonstrated advanced proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.\nStrong troubleshooting, optimization, and problem-solving skills across apps, flows, reports, and data connections.\nProven security and governance capability, including role-based security, Power BI row-level security (RLS), workspace governance, naming conventions, and platform/environment strategy.\nHave or obtain favorable Tier 3 investigation.\nHave or obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security + CE) before start date.\nGovernment contract requires person possess proof of U.S. citizenship.\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
