As the prime contractor for the SENSE contract, Peraton is responsible for the operations, maintenance, sustainment, and systems engineering of satellite communications systems for NASA.\nThe selected candidate will support DTE projects by:\nDeveloping and tracking project plans, budgets, actual costs, and labor and non-labor cost forecasts to meet project requirements and deadlines.\nOverseeing the development, delivery, and maintenance of contract-wide project schedules.\nSupporting the planning, preparation, and delivery of task-order proposals and subcontractor statements of work.\nTracking support resources to meet project requirements.\nManaging project-level financial processes and project-management tools.\nDeveloping methods to monitor project progress and support timely intervention and problem-solving.\nCoordinating activities among resources and task-order managers.\nIdentifying, documenting, and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency.\nProactively managing scope changes; implementing responsive task-order processes; identifying potential risks; developing solutions and contingency plans; and communicating success criteria.\nProviding direction for the work of DTE employees and subcontractors across multiple geographic locations.\nPreparing and delivering briefings and reports to the customer.\nEstablishing milestones and ensuring adherence to master plans and schedules in accordance with task-order scopes, milestones, and deliverables.\nTraveling occasionally to other sites, as required.\nDeveloping, maintaining, and delivering project-process training as needed.\nPreparing ad hoc DTE project-management reports and presentations.\nDeveloping Task Order management skills and managing one or more Task Orders.\n#HIRE4SENSE\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related business or technical field.\n10 years of relevant professional experience.\nExperience developing and delivering integrated project schedules.\nExperience using scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project.\nExperience conducting resource and funding analyses across multiple programs or projects.\nExperience supervising multifaceted teams.\nExperience managing and tracking tasks and customer deliverables.\nExperience using Microsoft SharePoint.\nThis position requires a “Public Trust” background check with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.\nYou must be a US Citizen and show proof of citizenship.\nMust be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.\nDesired Qualifications:\nPrevious experience supporting NASA.\nExperience managing subcontractors and holding them accountable for their performance.\nExperience developing, operating, and sustaining satellite and terrestrial communications networks.\nExperience implementing or improving measurement capabilities.\nExperience redesigning processes to improve productivity, decision-making, or customer service.\nExperience working as a systems engineer.\nProven ability to collaborate effectively within a professional team environment.\nStrong communication skills.\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
