This role provides leadership and oversight across multiple IT service towers-Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, End User Services, and Program Support-serving DOT headquarters and more than 200 field offices in the Common Operating Environment (COE).\nThe Enterprise Operations Manager ensures the delivery of reliable, secure, and mission-aligned IT services that enable DOT’s critical transportation initiatives nationwide.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide enterprise-wide leadership for day-to-day operations across all service towers including infrastructure management, cybersecurity operations, end user support, and program support.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery, operational stability, adherence to DOT governance and federal IT standards, and attainment of service levels and Award Fee criteria.\nOversee server hosting, networking, connectivity, cloud operations, and system administration activities.\nAlign cybersecurity operational activities-including security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and disaster recovery-with DOT requirements.\nCollaborate with End User Operations lead to support end user services leadership across enterprise help desk, desktop support, field support, mobility device management, and hardware/software lifecycle processes.\nLead operational reporting, performance metrics, and KPI tracking; identify trends, risks, automation and productivity opportunities and improvement opportunities.\nManage escalations, operational issues, and coordination with DOT stakeholders and leadership.\nParticipate in governance forums, executive briefings, and planning sessions to maintain alignment with contract objectives and agency mission priorities.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and enterprise resiliency.\nEnsure documentation, processes, and procedures meet compliance, quality, and audit requirements.\nWork Location: Washington DC\n*This role is contingent of Peraton winning an award.*\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field..\n12 years of experience in enterprise IT operations, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.\nDemonstrated experience managing multi-tower IT service delivery and direct leadership of multiple tower/task leaders in complex or federal environments.\nStrong knowledge of infrastructure operations including Cloud hosting and Network services, cybersecurity practices, and end user support functions.\nExperience with ITIL-based processes and enterprise service management platforms.\nMust be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.\nUS Citizenship is required.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nITIL v4 certification.\nPrior experience supporting federal agencies or shared services environments.\nExperience with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM systems.\nBackground supporting cloud migration, enterprise networking, or cyber compliance.\nKey Competencies:\nStrong leadership, communication, and customer-facing skills.\nAbility to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.\nStrategic thinker with an operational mindset and attention to detail.\nProven ability in performance management, metrics, and continuous improvement.\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
