The ideal candidate must be in Austin, TX and San Angelo, TX. This position must cover BOTH the Austin Data Center and San Angelo Data Center. The Facility Management Service Delivery Manager will have overall accountability for CDC and in-scope facility Services. This includes, but is not limited to, physical security compliance, environmental controls, power optimization, utility cost management, and future CDC construction projects and infrastructure upgrades.This is a multi-site facilities leadership position requiring responsibility for both the Austin Data Center (ADC) and San Angelo Data Center (SDC).\nCritical Location Requirement:\nThe successful candidate must be based in the applicable Texas area and have the willingness and ability to regularly travel between Austin and San Angelo, which are approximately 3 hours apart.\nMust reside in or be willing to relocate to the Austin, TX metropolitan area or San Angelo, TX, as applicable.\nCandidates must be able to support both facilities as required.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain overall accountability for physical operations at:\nAustin Data Center (ADC)\nSan Angelo Data Center (SDC)\nManage physical security compliance at both Consolidated Data Centers.\nManage environmental control systems, including:\nHVAC\nCRAC cooling\n340 tons of cooling capacity at ADC\n365 tons of cooling capacity at SDC\nManage critical power systems, including:\nUPS\nGenerators\nPDUs\nPower distribution\nDual-feed power\nManage power optimization initiatives and utility cost management.\nProvide power and utility cost reporting to DIR.\nManage required generator testing, weekly, Monthly and annually.\nManage future Consolidated Data Center (CDC) construction projects and infrastructure upgrades.\nManage the Austin Data Center lease through the contract term.\nCoordinate San Angelo Data Center activities with Angelo State University in accordance with Texas Government Code §2054.382.\nManage CCTV, access control, and physical security systems at both Consolidated Data Centers.\nCoordinate facilities operations, maintenance, infrastructure, and physical security activities across both sites.\nEnsure facilities operations remain aligned with contractual, operational, safety, security, and service requirements.\nRegularly travel between Austin and San Angelo to support both data center locations.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\n10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience\n7+ years of enterprise-scale data center facilities management experience.\nDemonstrated experience managing critical data center facilities and infrastructure.\nExperience with Uptime Institute Tier II or Tier II+ facility management.\nStrong expertise in critical power systems, including:\nUPS\nDiesel generators\nPDUs\nPower distribution\nDual-feed power systems\nDemonstrated experience managing CRAC/HVAC cooling systems.\nExperience managing critical facility construction and infrastructure upgrade projects.\nExperience with multi-site facilities management.\nStrong understanding of data center environmental, electrical, mechanical, and physical infrastructure.\nAbility to manage facilities operations in a high-availability, mission-critical environment.\nStrong vendor, contractor, project, and stakeholder management skills.\nWillingness and ability to regularly travel between Austin and San Angelo, approximately 3 hours apart.\nMust be a US Citizen\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with physical security and access control in CJIS-compliant environments.\nExperience managing physical security systems, including:\nCCTV\nAccess control\nPhysical security infrastructure\nExperience managing government data center facilities.\nExperience working with regulated or highly secure facilities.\nExperience with multi-site data center operations.\nExperience managing utility optimization and energy cost-reduction programs.\nExperience coordinating major data center construction, expansion, and infrastructure modernization projects.\nExperience working with government stakeholders and public-sector facilities requirements.\nCDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) or equivalent preferred\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
