The customers we support are large and small Aerospace companies. The mission of our team is to provide customer satisfaction for product quality and delivery schedules while focusing internally on continuous improvement of our processes to reduce cost, rework and repair.\nOur production facility is seeking a Composite Technician who will mold and bond a variety of dissimilar materials (composite, metal, or laminate) assemblies, parts, components, equipment or structures into semi-finished or finished products.\nResponsibilites of the Position:\nPerform composite manufacturing operations, including material preparation, layup, molding, bonding, curing, finishing, and assembly in accordance with established procedures and specifications.\nInterpret and follow detailed work instructions, manufacturing routers, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accurate production of components.\nPrepare, measure, cut, and lay out composite materials and other substrates to meet dimensional and quality requirements.\nApply bonding agents and adhesives using approved techniques and processes.\nSet up, operate, and monitor vacuum systems, industrial ovens, and other specialized manufacturing equipment to complete bonding and curing processes.\nMonitor and control critical manufacturing parameters, including temperature, pressure, vacuum levels, and cure times, to ensure compliance with process requirements.\nUtilize calibrated measuring instruments, tools, and equipment to perform manufacturing operations and verify product conformity.\nPerform sanding, trimming, surface preparation, and finishing operations to meet specified requirements.\nInspect in-process and completed components for workmanship, dimensional accuracy, and conformance to quality standards.\nIdentify and communicate material defects, equipment issues, and nonconforming products to appropriate personnel.\nComplete and maintain accurate production documentation, including manufacturing routers, inspection records, material traceability, and process verification.\nFollow established material handling, storage, shelf-life, and chemical safety requirements to maintain product integrity and workplace safety.\nDemonstrate attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to perform multiple manufacturing operations while maintaining quality and productivity expectations.\nAssist with additional production activities and cross-training opportunities as needed to support operational requirements.\nCoordinate with production leadership and team members to support manufacturing priorities, production schedules, and on-time delivery commitments.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma \nExperience in a manufacturing environment \nDexterity for fine detailed work\nDetailed and results oriented, with solid problem-solving acumen\nAbility to multitask and work independently, as well as in a team environment\nMicrosoft Suite experience \nMust be a US Citizen\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nTwo or more years of experience with Microsoft Suite\nTwo or more years of experience with composite material production\nUnderstanding of lean manufacturing\nTarget Salary Range\n$30,000 - $48,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
