This individual will support the technical design and development efforts including migration of legacy/on-prem applications to AWS cloud and related technologies.\nWork Location: Onsite; Lanham, Maryland\nShift Schedule: 8am - 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST)\nWhat You Will Do:\nSupport application architecture, design, development, unit testing, implementation, and production support activities under the direction of technical leadership of the development team.\nDesign and develop solutions using Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Informatica, and JBoss.\nDevelop and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS services, including EC2, S3, SDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, and AWS CLI.\nDesign, deploy, and support containerized services using OpenShift and Kubernetes.\nSupport implementing the proposed technical design, coding standards, architecture, and development best practices.\nReview technical designs and code to ensure quality, scalability, security, and performance.\nSupport/lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve issues of complex applications, its integration with partnering applications.\nCollaborate with business, technical, architecture, and project teams throughout the development lifecycle.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and 2 years of professional experience, or a high school diploma and 6 years of professional experience.\n\nU.S. Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance; all work must be performed within the United States.\n\n2+ years of application development experience in developing applications in an agile environment using Java 17 or higher, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.\nHands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, SDS, DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, and AWS CLI.\nExperience with application design, development, unit testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and production support.\nStrong technical leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n Preferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting both front-end and back-end application development.\nStrong Java/JBoss experience.\nExperience working full-stack development efforts within complex enterprise environments.\nExperience working within Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.\nTarget Salary Range\n$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
