Linux team.\nWhat you will do:\nProviding operational support to customer on premise and cloud based (AWS and Azure) datacenters\nIimage creation, server provisioning, patching, reporting, creating, and maintaining documentation/SOP's\nWorking directly with customers to integrate applications, scripting and automation of tasks, high level problem solving\nTroubleshooting a wide variety of issues within defined SLAs. \nThe position requires individuals to be self-motivated, outgoing, accountable, energetic members of the team. \nPosition is 8-5 ET and requires participating in a 24/7 on-call schedule.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\n5 years with BS/BA or 9 years with a HS Diploma\nMinimum of 5 years experience as a Linux Administrator.\nExperience with Linux operation systems, Red Hat Satellite/Capsule/ OEL, Foreman, Pacemaker, Cisco hardware builds and provisioning with Kickstart.\nExperience with Red Hat Linux, Ubuntu, Veritas SF/Infoscale vcs/vxvm/vxfs, Linux build automation/recovery, OpenShift, OCFS2, Ansible Tower, Scaler.\nStrong understanding of server backup, experience with vulnerability scanning and threat mitigation technologies, Server hardening, OSCAP.\nUnderstanding of common security products (Splunk, Lumension/Ivanti, etc.),\nFamiliar with Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy Management, VMWare VSphere (e.g., ESXi, vCenter) administration and support, Linux Systems Administration, Storage\n Experience with Net App, Cloud computing instance and service provisioning (e.g., Amazon Web Service, Azure, etc.), Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, etc.)\nAutomation skills via scripting (e.g., ksh, bash, yams, Oracle Linux patching automation skills and PowerShell).\nSolarWinds monitoring experience\nServiceNow or other ticketing systems experience\nAbility to concurrently manage multiple tasks\nStrong troubleshooting skills\nMust be a US Citizen\nMust be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertified and experience with AWS, Azure, Centrify\nKnowledge of network technologies, connectivity, protocols, and security.\nMature professional, outgoing, highly motivated, self-starter\nClear verbal and written communicaton\nAbility to assist/coach team members\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
