Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nProject Description:\nThe team supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians.\nThe products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner.\nThese products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools.\nJob Description:\nDesign, create, test, and productize Al/ML algorithms to solve business challenges.The Al/ML models created should be capable of learning and making predictions as defined by the business logic developed to meet customer requirements.\n\nProficient in all aspects of model architecture, data pipeline interaction, metrics application, interpretation, and presentation.\nFamiliarity with foundational concepts of application development, infrastructure management, data engineering, and data governance.\nExperience training, retraining, deploying, scheduling, monitoring, and improving models based on iterative user and system feedback is required to support designing and creating scalable solutions for optimal performance.\nResponsible for leading geographically diverse teams and will often serve as a primary POC for Al-related matters, so must have exceptional analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.\nHighly Desired Skills:\nExpert knowledge of multiple programming languages (Python, Java, C++, R)\nJupyter notebooks\nPyTorch or TensorFlow\nGenerative AI use (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)\nAgent Orchestration, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)\nAWS Bedrock\nQualifications\nBasic Requirements:\nActive TS/SCI with current Polygraph required\nTwo (2) years of experience in applied machine learning in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required\nBachelor's Degree in advanced math (e.g., Calculus, Linear Algebra or Bayesian statistics), Computer Science or related STEM discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Three (3) years of additional machine learning experience on projects with similar machine learning processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. \n\nBenefits:Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees supporting this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap, and eligibility to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\nTarget Salary Range\n$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
