The qualified candidate will lead the analysis, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of MES capabilities built on Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), including customized ERP modules and integrations with manufacturing and enterprise systems.The candidate will serve as the technical focal point for Oracle E-Business Suite/MES engineering activities and will work across Agile teams to deliver enhancements while maintaining reliable day-to-day operations. The role requires strong knowledge of Oracle EBS, software development and integration, testing, production deployment, and technical troubleshooting, with the ability to translate manufacturing and business requirements into practical, supportable solutions.\nWork Location: This is a hybrid position, with the expectation to work on-site 3 days per week in Washington, DC\nTravel: This position will require periodic support at the Fort Worth, TX location as required by the customer.\nWhat you will do\nProvide technical leadership for the BEP Oracle EBS/MES environment, including customized ERP modules and MES capabilities.\nAnalyze business and manufacturing requirements and translate them into technical solutions, system changes, interfaces, and application enhancements.\nLead design, development, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities for Oracle EBS/MES capabilities.\nProvide technical direction to Agile team members responsible for MES application development, integration, testing, and production support.\nSupport SAFe Agile delivery by contributing to Epics, Features, Stories, acceptance criteria, technical dependencies, sprint planning, and Program Increment planning.\nDesign and support integrations between MES/Oracle EBS and manufacturing, enterprise, data, reporting, and other related systems.\nEvaluate existing Oracle EBS/MES functionality and identify opportunities for modernization, automation, reuse, performance improvement, and operational efficiency.\nLead technical troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, defect resolution, and remediation of complex production issues.\nDevelop and review technical designs, interface specifications, configuration documentation, deployment plans, test plans, and other engineering artifacts.\nEnsure unit, integration, regression, and other required testing is completed before deployment to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production.\nSupport production releases and ensure release packages include approved scope, test evidence, rollback planning, and post-implementation verification.\nMaintain traceability from requirements through delivered functionality, testing evidence, and release documentation.\nCoordinate with the MES Solution Architect, Program/Delivery Manager, Product Owners, developers, testers, cybersecurity personnel, infrastructure teams, and manufacturing stakeholders.\nProvide technical recommendations concerning system reliability, maintainability, performance, integration, and modernization.\nSupport knowledge transfer, standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and transition activities to maintain continuity of BEP operations.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust level clearance\nBachelors Degree and 8 years professional experience, or an Associates Degree and 10 years professional experience, or a High School Diploma/equivalent and 12 years professional experience\nStrong demonstrated experience in Oracle E-Business Suite, enterprise application development, systems integration, or a closely related technical discipline.\nDemonstrated hands-on experience supporting Oracle EBS in a complex enterprise production environment.\nStrong experience with MES, ERP, manufacturing systems, or comparable mission-critical enterprise applications.\nExperience designing, developing, configuring, integrating, testing, and deploying Oracle EBS/MES solutions.\nExperience with Oracle EBS application modules, customized ERP functionality, interfaces, integrations, and technical troubleshooting.\nExperience with software development and integration practices, including APIs, interfaces, data exchange, and enterprise integration patterns.\nExperience supporting application operations and maintenance, incident resolution, defect remediation, upgrades, releases, and continuous improvement.\nExperience leading or technically coordinating Agile development teams and working within SAFe Agile delivery practices.\nExperience developing and reviewing technical designs, configuration documentation, test plans, deployment plans, release packages, and operational documentation.\nExperience supporting UAT, regression testing, production deployment, and post-implementation verification.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze complex technical issues and communicate solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience working with application dependencies across databases, infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise applications, and manufacturing systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.\nDirect experience supporting an MES built on or integrated with Oracle E-Business Suite.\nOracle E-Business Suite technical certification or other relevant Oracle certification.\nExperience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and cloud modernization of Oracle-based enterprise applications.\nExperience with Oracle database technologies, SQL/PLSQL, application interfaces, middleware, or related Oracle technologies.\nExperience with manufacturing IT/OT integration or industrial automation.\nExperience with equipment integration, digital manufacturing, or digital transformation initiatives.\nExperience with Maximo or other enterprise asset management platforms.\nExperience supporting data analytics, AI/ML, predictive maintenance, or manufacturing performance dashboards.\nSAFe certification or demonstrated experience working within a SAFe Agile program.\nPrior experience supporting the U.S. Treasury Department, BEP, or other Federal Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
