This position is a full-time role with overall accountability for governmental experience, including customer engagements and implementations, solution design, service evolution design, and project management. The PMO Director will provide contract-wide leadership for project management, customer engagements, implementations, solution design governance, service evolution, contract deliverables, agency onboarding, and implementation oversight.\nMust be located in the Austin, TX metropolitan area, or San Angelo, TX as applicable. Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Austin, TX metropolitan area.\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain overall accountability for project management, customer engagements, and implementations across the contract.\nProvide governance for solution design and manage the Request for Solution (RFS) process.\nLead service evolution design and execution.\nManage contract deliverables across the full contract lifecycle.\nLead customer agency engagement activities.\nManage customer agency onboarding projects.\nProvide implementation oversight and ensure successful transition into operational service.\nManage the Project Bench resource pool, providing flexible capacity for DIR-requested projects.\nCoordinate project activities across multiple service towers and stakeholders.\nManage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.\nEnsure formal project deliverables meet applicable government contract requirements.\nCoordinate project execution within the MSI/multi-vendor environment.\nServe as a direct interface with DIR and customer agencies on project-related matters.\nSupport solution development, service evolution initiatives, and implementation planning throughout the contract lifecycle.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\n10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience\n8+ years of program and project management experience on government IT contracts.\nDemonstrated experience managing multiple simultaneous large-scale IT implementation projects.\nStrong experience with government IT program and project management.\nExperience managing formal project deliverables and compliance requirements within government IT contracts.\nExperience working within a multi-vendor/MSI environment.\nFamiliarity with ITIL service management processes.\nFamiliarity with ServiceNow project management tools.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to interface directly with DIR, government stakeholders, and customer agencies.\nStrong organizational, leadership, project governance, risk management, and stakeholder management capabilities.\nAbility to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a complex, enterprise-scale IT environment.\nPMP (Project Management Professional) certification\nMust be a US Citizen\nPreferred Qualifications:\nTexas state government agency engagement experience\nExperience supporting Texas state agencies or comparable state government organizations.\nExperience with government customer onboarding and implementation programs.\nExperience with solution design governance and formal Request for Solution (RFS) processes.\nExperience managing service evolution and technology modernization initiatives.\nExperience managing large-scale, multi-tower IT programs.\nExperience with ServiceNow project and portfolio management capabilities.\nExperience working within complex MSI/multi-vendor government IT environments.\nExperience managing flexible project resources or project bench capacity.\nITIL v4 Foundation preferred\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
