This position supports both Austin Data Center (ADC) and San Angelo Data Center (SDC)\nKey Responsibilities:\nMaintain overall operational accountability for Private Cloud, network, and AI Platform service delivery.\nEnsure SLA attainment across all applicable service tiers\nManage compute and VM lifecycle management across the Austin Data Center (ADC) and San Angelo Data Center (SDC).\nProvide AI Platform service delivery when the optional sovereign AI Platform is implemented.\nLead day-to-day incident and problem management, including Tier 2 and Tier 3 support.\nManage ServiceNow service catalog fulfillment.\nMaintain CMDB accuracy and configuration management.\nCoordinate service delivery across Private Cloud, network, compute, storage, cloud, and AI/GPU environments as applicable.\nMonitor operational performance and ensure achievement of contractual service levels.\nCoordinate with other service delivery teams and vendors within the MSI/multi-vendor operating model.\nSupport continuous improvement of service management and operational processes.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\n12 years of experience, may have supervisory or management experience.\n7+ years of private cloud or enterprise data center managed services operations experience.\nHands-on experience with VMware vCenter/vSphere or an equivalent hypervisor platform - required.\nExperience managing tiered storage environments, including SAN/NAS, in conjunction with compute environments.\nExperience with ITIL-based service management operations.\nExperience managing infrastructure in a government or regulated environment.\nFamiliarity with the ServiceNow ITSM platform.\nExperience working within MSI/multi-vendor government IT delivery models.\nDemonstrated experience with incident management, problem management, SLA management, and enterprise service delivery.\nStrong operational leadership and communication skills.\nVMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent certification - required.\nMust be a US Citizen.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain the required agency clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nThe following qualifications are preferred:\nExperience with AI/ML infrastructure.\nExperience with GPU compute environments.\nExperience supporting cloud AI platforms.\nExperience with sovereign AI platforms.\nITIL v4 Foundation certification.\nCloud architecture certification, such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent.\nExperience operating large-scale private cloud or data center environments across multiple physical locations.\nExperience supporting state government, federal government, or other highly regulated IT environments.\nExperience managing high-availability infrastructure with stringent SLA requirements.\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
