Visit peraton.com to learn how we’re keeping people around the world safe and secure.\nResponsibilities\nPosition Summary:\nThe Process Manager is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and improving IT Service Management (ITSM) processes within the Global Communications Center (GCC). This role ensures that all service management processes are well-documented, consistently followed, measured, and optimized in alignment with organizational goals and ITIL best practices. The Process Manager is a central coordination point for process governance, execution quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the enterprise.\nKey Responsibilities:\nServe as the primary owner of one or more ITSM processes, ensuring proper design, documentation, implementation, and governance.\nCoordinate and lead process improvement initiatives across Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and other key ITIL processes.\nDevelop and maintain process documentation, workflows, standard operating procedures, and governance artifacts.\nMonitor process performance through KPIs, dashboards, and data analysis; identify areas for optimization or risk mitigation.\nEnsure processes are consistently followed across GCC teams and stakeholders; perform process audits as necessary.\nFacilitate process-related working groups, governance boards, and training sessions.\nCollaborate with Service Owners, engineering teams, operations centers, and leadership to support process adherence and service excellence.\nIdentify and recommend improvements to enhance process efficiency, reduce operational waste, and increase service reliability.\nSupport integration of GCC processes with Army enterprise service frameworks and DoD policies.\nEnable continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned, trend analysis, and best practices.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive DoD Secret clearance \nMininum 10 years experience\nExperience in IT Service Management or enterprise IT operations within a DoD or government environment.\nStrong understanding of ITIL v4 principles, process design, and service management frameworks.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive process alignment.\nExcellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.\nAbility to analyze process data and present actionable insights.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nITIL v4 Foundation or higher certification.\nExperience with GCC service delivery processes or Army enterprise networks.\nFamiliarity with service management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).\nBackground in process engineering, quality management, or governance.\nCore Competencies:\nProcess design and optimization\nAnalytical thinking and data interpretation\nStakeholder engagement and facilitation\nDocumentation excellence\nContinuous improvement mindset\nCompliance and governance awareness\nTarget Salary Range\n$80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
