This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.\nAs a Process Optimization Systems Engineer on our team, you will support an efficiency-focused group at the top level of a directorate focused on identifying and seizing opportunities to leverage and evolve the directorate’s personnel. We are looking for a polished SE with experience working with Senior leaders. Tasks include, but are not limited to:\nPerform requirements management for an efficiency-focused organization and help make improvement recommendations while ensuring critical requirements are not lost.\nEngage with internal and external personnel to improve the processes of the organization, including helping the organization ‘run more like a business’\nIdentify areas for improvement and help realize changes in processes that are scalable to other organizations. #MDFSP #AJCM\nQualifications\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Required:\nA bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience. A master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. Note: High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.\nRequirements management and requirements elicitation experience.\nFamiliarity with process improvement techniques.\nPosition requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Desired:\nProcess engineering, Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement experience\nManagement consultancy or similar experience\nThe ability to proactively reach out to high-level customers without prior engagement, understand their process and system workflows, and develop requirements for improved systems and processes\nFamiliarity with customer policy and engagement initiatives\nStrong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills\nAbility to work independently and within a team setting to complete assigned tasks on schedule\nFlexible/easily adaptable within a dynamic work environment\nApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\nPeraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which includes heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\nTarget Salary Range\n$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
