This role focuses on leading the development and modernization of Telemetry, Tracking & Command (TT&C) and Satellite Mission Planning and Scheduling systems, delivering Mission Management Integrated Solutions Tool Suite COTS Command & Control software for mission-critical government customers. We are seeking an individual with strong communication abilities and with very effective technical and team collaboration skills to help manage the existing programs and drive new license and maintenance sales. The PM shall be the driving force in evolving the culture to drive and enable enhancements to our commercial product to support future growth pipeline needs while continuing on-contract growth for our existing programs.\nWhat you'll do:\nServe as the primary interface to Government and Industry leadership, Contracting Officers, and senior mission stakeholders \nMaintain full accountability for program performance across cost, schedule, and technical execution \nDevelops goals, budget, and strategic business plans.\nMaintains market position of products by managing existing product lines and competitive market information.\nRecommends ways to expand sales and profitability in specific markets.\nLead program financial management including forecasting, EACs, staffing strategy, and cost control \nIdentify, assess, and mitigate program risks across technical, operational, and financial domains \nLead executive-level briefings, program management reviews (PMRs), and customer engagements \nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\n10+ years of experience as a supervisor, with preferred PM skills\n5-10 years with leading SW Management Experience\nExperience leading teams delivering complex, scalable software systems\nExperience and track record delivering capabilities to one of the following organizations: Department of War, NASA, NOAA, Intelligence Community, commercial company/org.\nStrong background in software architecture, system design, and SDLC execution\nExperience with cloud-based environments and modernization efforts\nExperience in integrating COTS products with custom software solutions\nFamiliarity with Agile/DevSecOps methodologies and secure development practices\nStrong communication skills with experience engaging technical teams and customer stakeholders\nActive or ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance\nAbility to identify areas to improve and be open to change, and drive that change across the teams\nExperience with capture and growth activities \nExperience with commercial products\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting satellite systems, TT&C, or mission planning/scheduling environments, specifically with the OS/COMET® commercial product\nPMP, Agile, or technical leadership certifications\nFamiliarity with NASA,DOW, or IC mission systems and systems engineering processes\nExperience with containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift) and CI/CD pipelines\nExperience with cloud-native architecture and hybrid environments\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
