The Scheduler serves as a key integrator across program management, engineering, logistics, field operations, training, vendor coordination, and FAA stakeholder activities to ensure alignment of program milestones, installation sequencing, resource loading, and deployment execution.This position supports a complex national modernization initiative involving multiple vendors, FAA organizations, regional field teams, and installation workstreams. The Scheduler provides schedule visibility, critical path analysis, risk identification, and execution tracking to support program decision-making and customer reporting.\nWork location: This position can be remote, but preference will be given to candidates local to Chantilly, VA\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop, maintain, and update the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).\nBuild and maintain detailed schedule logic supporting surveys, installations, testing, and training.\nEnsure schedule alignment with contract requirements and FAA milestones.\nCoordinate scheduling activities across regional deployment teams.\nSynchronize vendor delivery schedules with field installation activities.\nTrack installation readiness criteria and site-specific dependencies.\nConduct schedule health assessments and critical path analysis.\nProvide schedule variance analysis and mitigation recommendations.\nGenerate weekly and monthly schedule reports for leadership and customers.\nCoordinate schedule integration activities with vendors including RTX and Indra.\nSupport FAA coordination meetings involving TechOps and Engineering Services.\nParticipate in deployment synchronization reviews.\nSupport workforce planning and installation team utilization analysis.\nForecast staffing requirements based on deployment tempo.\nMonitor concurrency impacts across active sites.\nSupport schedule risk identification and mitigation planning.\nAssist in maintaining schedule configuration control.\nParticipate in change control boards and program review meetings.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nU.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance is required.\nBachelors Degree and 12 years of experience, a Masters Degree and 10 years of experience, an Associates Degree and 14 years of experience, or a High School diploma or equivelant and 16 years of experience.\nExtensive experience in program scheduling or integrated planning.\nProficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Excel, and PowerPoint.\nExperience supporting large federal programs or aerospace modernization initiatives.\nStrong analytical and organizational skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting FAA or national airspace modernization programs.\nFamiliarity with radar systems or aviation infrastructure programs.\nKnowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.\nPMP certification or equivalent program management certification.\nIntegrated planning and scheduling expertise\nCross-functional coordination\nExecutive reporting\nSchedule analytics and forecasting\nRisk management\nTeam collaboration\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
