This role establishes security architecture principles, reference designs, technical standards, and implementation patterns aligned with organizational risk tolerance, mission objectives, and applicable federal security requirements.\nWork Location: This is a remote position, but candidate must be willing to work during the hours of 8am - 5pm EST\nWhat You Will Do:\nDevelop and maintain enterprise security architecture principles, reference architectures, technical standards, and security design patterns.\nTranslate business, mission, and regulatory requirements into secure architectural solutions across applications, infrastructure, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.\nConduct security architecture reviews and threat modeling to identify design weaknesses, architectural risks, and opportunities to strengthen security controls.\nDefine security requirements for new systems, technology integrations, modernization initiatives, and enterprise platforms.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and provide architecture recommendations that balance security, scalability, performance, cost, and operational requirements.\nEstablish architecture governance processes and ensure security considerations are incorporated throughout the system development lifecycle.\nProvide technical architecture guidance to security engineering, DevSecOps, cloud platform, infrastructure, and application teams.\nDefine security architecture requirements for secure software development, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated policy enforcement.\nEstablish secure integration patterns for security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat detection capabilities.\nReview technical designs, solution proposals, and implementation plans to validate alignment with security architecture standards.\nSupport the selection and integration of security technologies based on technical requirements, threat models, and organizational needs.\nQualifications\nBasic Qualifications:\nMust be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust level clearance\nBachelors Degree and 12 years of experience, a Masters Degree and 10 years of experience, an Associates Degree and 14 years, or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 16 years of experience\nOne or more of the following relevant certifications: CISSP, CISM, CASP, CCISO, Security+, or CAP\nDemonstrated experience designing and reviewing security architectures for complex enterprise, cloud, hybrid, or federal information systems.\nStrong understanding of security architecture principles, threat modeling, defense-in-depth, least privilege, identity security, encryption, and network security.\nExperience applying security frameworks and controls, including NIST SP 800-53 and other applicable federal or industry standards.\nProven experience translating security requirements into technical architecture designs, implementation standards, and security control specifications.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field\nTarget Salary Range\n$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
