The role combines analytical tradecraft, executive support, and hands-on use of AI tools to produce timely, high-quality analysis.\nYou will turn executive questions into fast, defensible answers by directing AI agents through the full range of Peraton[x] capabilities: agentic workflows, natural language interfaces, data retrieval, data fusion, structured analysis, visualization, and automated reporting. The ideal candidate is a seasoned analyst with executive presence who is comfortable with diverse data types and sources.\nYou will also help shape where Peraton[x] goes next. You will give the engineering and product teams direct feedback on usability, capability gaps, workflow effectiveness, and high-value use cases, and you will show internal leaders, customers, and industry audiences what the platform can do.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as a go-to resource for senior executives, turning broad requests into decision-ready analysis and AI-enabled applications\nAct as an expert power user of Peraton[x], building multi-step agentic workflows and selecting the right models to fuse internal data, documents, and open-source information into finished products, without writing code\nEvaluate and validate AI-generated outputs, verifying facts against sources and flagging gaps and assumptions to ensure every product meets executive standards for accuracy and sourcing\nContribute to the development of quality assurance and evaluation frameworks for AI-assisted analytical products\nDevelop reusable workflows, templates, prompt strategies, and automated reports that make recurring executive requests faster and more consistent\nHelp define and document concepts of employment, analytical workflows, operational procedures, and best practices for other teams to adopt\nProvide continuous feedback to engineering and product teams on usability, capability gaps, and high-value use cases, and help prioritize platform development\nDesign and deliver demonstrations, pilots, and proof-of-concept workflows that showcase platform value to internal leaders, customers, and industry audiences\nCollaborate with executives, analysts, engineers, and mission stakeholders to identify high-value analytical use cases\nSupport training, onboarding, and mentoring of platform users, sharing best practices and lessons learned across the organization\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nMinimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field\n12+ years of experience in data, business, or strategic analysis, or a related analytical role\nProven experience directly supporting senior executives, synthesizing diverse sources into concise, defensible conclusions and decision-ready briefings\nDemonstrated hands-on experience using agentic AI systems and large language models (LLMs) to build multi-step workflows, applications, or analytical products from structured and unstructured data\nStrong working knowledge of LLM capabilities and limitations, including model selection, prompt engineering, and common failure modes such as hallucination, with experience evaluating AI-generated outputs for accuracy, sourcing, and reliability\nExcellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, including data visualization or dashboard development, with executive presence\nAbility to work cross-functionally with technical teams, translating user needs into clear, actionable feedback on platform capabilities\nComfort working in a fast-paced environment where tools, workflows, and priorities change quickly\nUS Citizenship\nAbility to work onsite in Reston, VA\nDesired Qualifications\nMaster's degree\nBackground in defense, intelligence, homeland security, or government services\nActive security clearance, or the ability to obtain one\nExperience with workflow automation, no-code/low-code platforms, SQL, or Python\nExperience designing AI evaluation methods, benchmarks, or quality assurance frameworks\nExperience leading AI adoption, pilots, or technology transitions, including developing SOPs, training materials, or best-practice guides\nFamiliarity with knowledge management, data curation, or information organization\nTarget Salary Range\n$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
