Peraton is seeking a cleared mid-level Site Lead with an engineering or construction background, to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop a next generation satellite terminal. The program provides architectural, design, construction and engineering of terminals and systems support as well as operation and maintenance of Ground Terminals for DoD.\nThis is an on-site position in Colorado Springs, CO on Shriever SFB, where you will be working closely with civilian subcontractors in addition to your primary team to build up the Ground Terminal facility and prepare it for antenna installations.\nThe Site Lead will be responsible for the following but not limited to:\nMonitors construction activities, provides daily and weekly reporting and updates of status to prime\nCoordinates with on-base personnel\nAssists with permitting processes including documentation and coordinating visits to the site by decision makers\nAttends meetings, provides some guidance to sub-contractors including site safety enforcement\nWorks with remote logistics team regarding shipping, base access coordination, site activity deconfliction\nTypical work schedule is 7-4, M-F adjusting for day to day needs of the project\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree plus 8 years of related experience, or High-school Diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a completed degree\nEngineering background or prior construction industry experience required\nProficiency with MS Office\nWilling to take relevant trainings including safety, aerial lifts, telehandler.\nSecret level clearance \nDesired Qualifications:\nExperience with MS Project is preferred\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nProficiency with CAD or MS Visio\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
