This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing engineering projects to ensure on-time completion while remaining in program budget and is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams.\nResponsibilities:\nPeraton is seeking a Senior Manager, Systems Engineering to lead and manage our client’s IT infrastructure needs. The responsibilities for this position include:\nDesigns, develops, evaluates, and modifies end-to-end infrastructure systems, products and services throughout the life cycle. \nGenerates quantifiable requirements based on client description, system planning, system design, and acquisition logistics. \nEnsures requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods. \nTranslates high level product development strategies into system requirement specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower-level detailed implementation requirements. \nEstablishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall service/product development. \nDesigns interfaces and brings system elements together, so they work as a whole. \nAssesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. \nCustomer liaison and support for business development activities and to understand and shape requirements. \nParticipates in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts. \nParticipates in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation. \nGenerates system level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures. \nReviews test plans/procedures and ensures they meet the objectives of the contractual requirements and participates in the testing process to validate requirements. \nProvides requirements analysis, design, engineering, security accreditation and documentation to prepare new systems for implementation \n**Position is Contingent on Contract Award**\nQualifications\nRequired QUALIFICATIONS:\nActive TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly clearance. \nBachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline and 12 years of experience. \nMinimum of 12 years’ experience in Systems Engineering. \n8 or more years’ experience managing an engineering team of technical professionals. \nDesired Qualifications :\nActive TS/SCI with Poly clearance. \nMasters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or Mathematics is preferred. \nCertified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification. \nSECURITY CLEARANCE:\nThis Position requires an Active TS/SCI and the ability to obtain a Poly, US Citizenship is required\nTo hold this clearance.\nPeraton Overview\nPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
