As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.\nAs a Senior SIGINT Systems Engineer, you will support a customer Cross Access Infrastructure team in tracking, monitoring and facilitating planning for the development, deployment, upgrade, and maintenance of SIGINT collection and processing systems.\nResponsibilities include:\nCapture and document the requirements for the new and updated systems as well as coordinate and track the sensor projects from requirements, analysis of alternatives, sensor buildout, deployment, and installation, testing and transition to operations.\nParticipate in numerous meetings, working groups, and integrated product teams, product reviews, and status meetings to monitor the systems engineering plans, development, and deployment of space and ground processing systems.\nWork closely with government Systems Engineers to support the re-engineering of the existing SIGINT ground architecture to facilitate the elimination of collection/processing stovepipes and replace the deprecated systems with collections/processing systems that support automation, dynamic tasking, multi-access cross-cueing and orchestration.\nProduce system engineering and technical documentation, develop master schedules, and support validation and verification activities.\nProvide exercise support as needed to assist in the development and testing of new capabilities.\nServe as liaison to critical personnel in monitoring the state of project development milestones.\nTrack and aid in managing to resolution all customer related audit and inspection findings. Help to anticipate and identify problem areas that are most likely to be a problem during future audits and inspections. #MDFSP #AJCM\nQualifications\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Required:\nA Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline and at least 20 years of systems engineering experience is required. A Master’s or PhD Degree may be substituted for two years of experience. Note: a High School Diploma or GED plus 24 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.\nKnowledge of National SIGINT technologies, capabilities, their associated system architectural components (i.e. space systems, ground stations, ground processing systems), and knowledge of the national collection requirements prioritization system and associated processes is critical.\nExperience with all phases of System Engineering Life-cycle management process \nStrong Project Management skills.\nAn understanding of the policy constraints associated with the conduct of lawful SIGINT operations is also critical to success. \nMust have strong written and verbal communications skills.\nPosition requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.\nIndividual Capabilities/Experience Desired:\nThe ideal candidate would be SIGINT Systems Subject Matter Expert. They should be familiar with the end-to-end system including tasking, collection management, collection operations, processing and dissemination components and processes.\nExperience with SIGINT data flows and what is needed to get specific data sets to different SIGINT data bases.\nAbility to support re-engineering efforts that focus on automation, multi-access cross cueing, collaboration, and dynamic collection/processing orchestration.\nA familiarity with SIGINT systems collection management and architecture is useful, especially where they might employ best practices that may be suitable for adoption within the collection systems architecture.\nExperience providing exercise support in conjunction with system development and testing new concepts and equipment.\nExperience in cyber security principles, system security authorizations, and Risk Management Framework processes and capabilities.\nBroad experience in systems engineering disciplines, system integration, project management, architecture development, mission use case and thread analysis.\nA demonstrated ability to work constructively and successfully with diverse stakeholders to resolve mission and technical issues.\nSelf-starter, with high attention to detail, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Microsoft Excel.\nApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.\nPeraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and eligible to participate in an attractive bonus plan.\nTarget Salary Range\n$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
